Choose it when you want something lighter than a balm, especially in the first weeks after your session.

When to use it

Use it in the first weeks, once your artist says it is time for aftercare. Keep it on hand after that for any day you want a cool, light layer instead of a richer balm.

How to use it

• Wash the area gently with mild soap and lukewarm water.
• Pat it dry with a clean towel. Don't rub.
• Apply a thin layer with clean fingertips.
• Massage it in until it absorbs.

Is the Soothing Gel a numbing gel?

No. The Soothing Gel contains no lidocaine. Our Numbing Gel is a separate product with 4% lidocaine HCl, for use before your session.

How much should I apply?

A thin layer is enough. Massage it in until it absorbs.

Can I use it with the Tattoo Balm?

Yes. Our aftercare guide lists both for the first weeks. The gel gives light, cooling hydration. The balm gives richer moisture with shea butter and cocoa butter.
